Gordon have been working in the Australian education industry in the last 15 years. He has abundant experiences in course development and delivery methodology. He has developed courses for Begina Education in 3D Printing, Robotic Programming and other similar materials in STEM area. He loves to see the students to be benefit from these courses and become more confident in their future personal development.
Susanna is the centre manager of Begina Education, responsible for day to day operation and educational program development.
Samuel Chen is a graduate of the University of Canterbury, from Christchurch, New Zealand. He has completed postgraduate studies in Child and Family Psychology, and has six years of work and volunteer experience working with children. He has been involved in a number of after school programmes, homework clubs, youth groups, and mentoring programmes. He has also worked with children and teens with a variety of developmental disorders including ADHD, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disability.
Miss Victoria is a qualified and experienced teacher, having completed her Education degree in 2004 and her teaching career starting shortly thereafter in 2005. She resigned from her permanent teaching position at the end of 2012 to look after her children.
Victoria’s creative and nurturing approach to her teaching allows children to feel immediately at ease with her.
Having a thorough understanding of the very different and distinct learning needs and styles of children, Victoria’s strength lies in her ability to cater to the individual needs of students through the development and implementation of quality teaching and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Lisa has 10 years’ experience within the field of education, graduating in 2004 from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) I has worked within the field of Early Child Care and have been an educational liaison officer.
She is responsible for educational program development for Begina Education Centre.
Grace Yeonsil Song
Grace is a graduate of Academy of Musical and Performing Arts, Sydney and has a master degree of Music (Performing Arts, Jazz piano). Her music career as a jazz pianist has been developed by presenting her band on various stages.
She has more than 20 years been in teaching music by her private lessons in Korea and Australia. Recently she had been involved in a number of before and afterschool music programs for primary schools throughout the Sydney Basin. She has also worked with children and teens in music education and encouraged them to continue their musical development. She is a communicator and an encourager, inspire her music student to grow their passion, gifts and talents as well as skills. She is super positive and loves sharing her passion in music to others.
Ms. Helena has Early Childhood Education background and also holds bachelor in community services from University of New South Wales. Although she didn't study music at university but she has been playing piano since she was little. She is passionate about music and recognise the importance that music plays in children's development.
Daniel is a Music Major (Jazz Guitar) graduate from Australian National University, he has over 10 years experience teaching students of all ages at both a private and tertiary level. Past experience includes being invited as a guest Lecturer at Daegu University (South Korea), designing course curriculums at the National Music Academy (Newcastle), and working in a government funded program for newly arrived Burmese Refugees (Canberra). In 2013 he was a finalist in the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Awards (U.S 2013) for Jazz performance and composition.
He feels it is important that his students do not feel bored or overly challenged when learning music, curiosity and exploration must always be a part of the creative process. Music can enrich one's life far beyond their instrument., and he hopes to inspire all his students to approach music in this way.
Jean is a qualified and experienced piano, violin, theory of music teacher and also an accompanist who has 15 years of experience in teaching instrumental music and early childhood music education. She believes every individual whether they are young children or adults would have long-term benefits if music is part of their life.
Her passion and love for music has shown through the faces of every student that she has taught over the many years in her teaching career. Jean loves to see the joy of young children enjoying her lesson, nurture them to play an instrument and foster the love for music. Her ability to engage and inspire student is remarkable.
Jean holds a Licentiate Diploma with Distinction in Piano Solo from the Trinity of College London and has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence. Apart from teaching, she has played with several top community orchestras back in Adelaide in the string section.
Natalie is a passionate member of our Musical Phonics team. She has 2 years’ experience in children’s literacy skill development. Working towards a degree in Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) at University of Sydney and accreditation with Speech Pathology Australia, she devotes the remainder of her time to supporting Begina. Natalie is also certified by London Teacher Training College to deliver Musical Phonics program with her own enthusiasm and creativity.
Sara is entering her third year of Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at The University of Sydney. She have been awarded a Pass with Honours in a Fourth Grade Australian Music Examinations Board piano exam.
